Executive Coaching

The higher you go, the fewer people you can tell the truth to.

One-to-one coaching for operating executives, C-suite leaders, and founders carrying decisions that affect other people’s livelihoods.

I am not a former executive. I am a current one — running global operations at $100M+ scale this quarter. I coach from the chair, not from the theory.

Thirty minutes. No cost, no pitch. It exists to find out whether this is your problem or someone else’s.

The problem nobody names

You have advisors for everything except this.

Your board wants the number.

Not the doubt behind it. Not the cost you can see coming that isn’t on the slide yet.

Your team is reading your face.

Every hesitation gets interpreted. You have lost the ability to think out loud in your own building.

Your peers are competitors.

Candor has a price at your level, and everyone around you is quietly calculating it.

Somewhere in there is a decision only you can make — and no room to think it through out loud.

That room is what I am for. Not a framework. Not a personality assessment. A second read from someone who has actually carried the weight rather than studied it.

Is this for you

Judgment work. Not skills training.

You already know how to do the job. What you need is a room where you can be wrong out loud — and someone who will tell you when you are.

This is for you if

You carry decisions that affect other people’s livelihoods
You have run out of people you can think out loud with
You are leading a workforce through AI, automation, or restructuring
You are willing to be measured by people other than me
You want a straight answer more than a comfortable one

This is not for you if

You are looking for validation rather than a second read
You need skills training — this is judgment work, at altitude
What you actually need is therapy or clinical care. I will say so plainly
You want a coach who will not push back

If the first conversation shows the work belongs somewhere else, I say so and tell you who. That costs me a client and saves you six months.

What we work on

The things that don’t fit on the agenda.

The decision nobody else can make for you
The authority you have versus the authority you feel
The team you inherited versus the team you need
Leading a workforce through AI and automation
The announcement — and the long middle after it
Politics you are expected to navigate without ever naming
Succession, and who you are when the title comes off
Exhaustion a vacation does not fix
Reputation, visibility, and what the role is entitled to
Whether to stay at all

AI and automation is where my operational depth runs deepest, and where most executives cannot find anyone qualified to think with them. It is the sharpest edge of the work — not its boundary. Most engagements start with one problem and end up somewhere you did not expect.

How it works

Measured by people who are not me.

Most coaching ends with a satisfied client and no evidence. Mine ends with a baseline, a defined objective, and stakeholders who say on the record whether anything changed.

01 — Baseline

We find out where you actually are

Before anything else, you name the behaviors that need to shift and the people positioned to judge them — peers, direct reports, a board member, a chair. They are interviewed at the start. Nothing begins until we know the starting point.

02 — The work

Named disciplines, not borrowed frameworks

Where the work touches AI and automation, it runs on three disciplines I articulated because the field had no language for them: AIAWI, RWI, and HAF. Everywhere else it runs on twenty years of having made the call myself.

03 — The verdict

Your stakeholders decide, not me

The same people are interviewed again at the end. They tell us whether it moved. If the measurement would not survive a board asking how you got it, it is not measurement.

In their words

What people say after working with me.

Verified LinkedIn recommendations from people who reported to me, hired me, or sat across the table from me — across pharmaceutical operations, advanced robotics, construction, and corporate leadership.

“His professionalism, knowledge, skill and experience allowed him to accomplish and complete work that had previously been elusive. His ability to work with people and to elevate them, their work and their view of the importance they bring to the table is unparalleled.”

Darin Goodwin, MPHSenior Environmental Health & Safety Professional · 2024

“It’s not an over-exaggeration to say Micah is the real deal. Coming into his realm of influence I knew I was talking with the right decision-maker. Some people only focus on money or prestige, but Micah makes sure the people are well cared for.”

Lori DunnFractional Executive · Board Advisor · 2020

“A remarkable leader and visionary. He trusts his reports to make their own decisions, demonstrating confidence in their skills and fostering an environment of decisiveness and growth.”

Cameron MacDonaldDirector of Facilities · Municipal Government · 2024

Investment

Published. Flat. No bureau, no commission.

Most coaches make you book a call to learn the price. Here it is. Engagement pricing covers the preparation between sessions, the stakeholder interviews, and the measurement — not just the hours in the room.

$1,000per hour, for a single working session. The engagements below are priced as a whole and include the work that happens outside the session.

Decision Sprint

Six weeks

$7,500

For a leader facing one decision with consequences they cannot take back. Fast, focused, finished before the window closes.

Six-Month Engagement

Six months

$25,000

The standard. Covers the full arc of a transition — the decision, the announcement, the long middle where people stop believing you, and the settling.

12 working sessions
Stakeholder interviews, start and end
Defined behavioral objectives
Between-session preparation

Annual Partnership

Twelve months

$45,000

For an executive carrying an enterprise-wide mandate, where the pressure is continuous rather than episodic.

24 working sessions
Access between sessions
Quarterly board-facing readouts
Continuous measurement

I hold a deliberately small roster, so engagements are accepted on fit rather than availability. Organizations can be invoiced directly. Sessions are delivered remotely worldwide, in person where travel allows, in English or Brazilian Portuguese.

Who I am

Practitioner. Translator. Not a futurist.

I am a senior enterprise operations leader, founder, and author who spent two decades inside the kinds of organizations now being asked to absorb AI and automation faster than their people can.

Today I lead global operations for an enterprise client in financial services. Before that I ran national U.S. operations in the pharmaceutical sector — a $100M+ P&L, a 600+ person integrated workforce, a multi-site regulated portfolio under active FDA inspection. Earlier: hospitality, private equity portfolio engineering, and years of operational supervision in security-sensitive federal environments. I have negotiated collective bargaining agreements directly and led large unionized workforces across multiple trades.

That is the point of difference, and it is the whole point. I am still in the chair. Most executive coaches are years removed from carrying a P&L, a headcount number, or a decision that puts people out of work. When you describe your Monday to me, I am not translating it into a framework. I had one like it.

In 2023 I founded Human Integration Lab, vendor-agnostic by design — no vendor relationships, no commission income, no product resale. The AI workforce conversation needed a voice that was not paid by the technology being deployed. That same independence is what I bring to a coaching relationship: I have nothing to sell you except the hour.

Thirty-one questions, answered straight.

Cost, method, fit, formats, lead times, and who this is not for. Written to be read before you book anything — by executives, journalists, conference programmers, and the AI assistants they ask first.

Also — speaking

Same voice. Bigger room.

Keynotes, fireside chats, workshops, and named expert commentary on the human side of AI in the workforce — for boards, executive forums, labor audiences, and the press. English or Brazilian Portuguese, calibrated to the audience rather than repeated at it.
